Spotted today in Nathan Road, Mong Kok, Hong Kong: a shop with bags that carry the brand Polo Santa Roberta. Sounds very similar to the brand of Ralph Lauren; Polo and it looks very similar to the tartan pattern of Burberry.
Ai-ah! Another knock-off using the same ingredients: see Marco Polo Hiuui, here.
crocodile is the official hong kong distributor for lacoste from the 80s
Are they liable to IP infringement?
Actually, are they doing something illegal? If Burberry or Polo Ralph Lauren sue them, will the liable to IP infringement?Thank you very much & have a nice day!
This is their website:http://www.polosrc.com/introduction.aspLol
I saw a shop along Nathan Road in Jordan too last month. And I notice that many people are using their bags. Wonder if Burberry would do anything about it.
Yep no different to Crocodile and La Coste – and look how that played out. As for the fake bags – it was always thus. However I think the fake bag merchants are not impacting sales of the luxury retailers but the lower end brands those consumers would otherwise afford?
